Issyk museum

Issyk Museum was opened in 1979. This museum is popular with its archeological finding so called “Golden Man” found in Kazakhstan. Today, Issyk Museum is the place where you can see interesting and ancient petroglyphs, that’s why it is visited by thousand tourists every year.

Issyk Lake

Issyk lake is a picturesque, alpine lake surrounded by unusually beautiful nature of thick forests and spacious flower fields. The lake is located at an altitude of 1760 meters above sea level, in the Issyk gorge of Trans-Ili Alatau, about 70 km east of Almaty.

Bear Waterfall

Bear Waterfall, also called Medvejiy Waterfall, is easily accessible waterfall in Turgen george, one of the most favorite place for travelers.

The waterfall is located in a deep rocky niche, on the southern slope of the Karash Ridge, where the Bear Stream flows. The height of the waterfall is 30 meters (98 ft).

The waterfall got its name because of bears that live here.
