Start and end in Almaty

Saki baths are becoming increasingly popular in Kazakhstan. The first information about this type of bathing was found in the records of Herodotus, who described in detail how the Saki bath is arranged.

Doctors believe that one Saki bath procedure can replace sports training. The Saki bath removes toxins and slag, strengthens immunity, triggers self-repair processes, relieves tension and provides energy supply. Usually, such baths are located at the foot of the mountains or near rivers. A sense of peace, deep relaxation, peace of mind and self-confidence – this is what the Saki bath gives.

We offer several resorts with Saki baths and you can choose to your discretion. Due to the long heating of the Saki bath, the bath procedure must be ordered in advance.

During 1.5 – 2 hours there are five visits to the bath for 7 minutes each. The first round is warming up. The bath attendant pours herbal infusion on the hot stones, the guests inhale essential oils, get used to the temperature. It is important to keep warm and breathe well. After – going out into the fresh air for 2-3 minutes.

The second round is to soak and rub with herbal balms. After the bath – going out into the fresh air for 2-3 minutes and drinking herbal tea.

The third step is to soar with brooms. After the procedure with brooms – welcome to the river or ice shower (optional), and for a snack – tea with jam.

The fourth is similar.

At the fifth round, the steam temperature is maximum: +80 degrees. Such a deep heat warms up “to the bones.” Afterwards, it is advised to plunge into the spring river
